The HPC Fire Round Unfinished Fire Pit Enclosure with Burner (often referred to as a Ready-to-Finish or RTF kit) is a commercial-grade, structural solution engineered to take the complexity out of DIY gas fire pit installation. Explicitly designed for professional builders, landscape architects, and ambitious homeowners, this heavy-duty round enclosure removes the tedious steps of framing from scratch, allowing you to focus completely on matching your backyard aesthetic.

Arriving with a pre-plumbed, fully integrated gas fire pit burner insert, this structurally sound package serves as a secure, long-lasting foundation that is ready to be cladded in your choice of custom finishing materials.

Structural Engineering & Custom Finish Freedom

  • Ready-to-Finish Core Frame: The enclosure frame is constructed from rigid, industrial-grade 22-gauge galvanized steel welded framing. This non-combustible cage provides tremendous structural stability and weight capacity, preventing warping or shifting over time.

  • Thick Magnesium Oxide/Hardieboard Cladding: The galvanized skeleton is wrapped in a durable, fireproof 1/2" Hardieboard/cement shell. This establishes an ideal, porous bond coat surface that directly accepts custom exterior masonry veneers including decorative stone, stucco, slate tile, stacked brick, or synthetic ledger stone.

  • Built-In Ventilation Requirements: Safety-engineered to incorporate pre-cut lower ventilation cutouts. Included structural vent covers satisfy mandatory code venting parameters, preventing dangerous gas pooling inside the base cavity and maintaining long-term electronic health.

The unfinished enclosure comes outfitted from the factory with a matching premium, fully certified 304 stainless steel round bowl pan and burner assembly, custom selectable across three iconic ignition platforms:

  • Platform A – Smart Electronic Ignition (EI - On/Off or Hi/Lo): The flagship automated option. Operates using an advanced pilot system with a hot surface igniter and auto-relight technology. Features a built-in internal antenna that enables full wireless control via a handheld remote or a smartphone/tablet via the free HPC Fire Bluetooth App from up to 20 feet away.

  • Platform B – Push-Button Flame Sensing (FPPK): A premium safety-pilot mechanical track. Ignites via a battery-powered push-button spark generator, while an integrated thermocouple flame-sensor constantly monitors the fire. If the wind blows the flame out, it instantly cuts off the gas flow to prevent accidents.
